Craft fair this weekend
Felician Sisters Ladies' Auxiliary is having a craft fair, bake sale, garage sale, food sale and vendors on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Father D'arco Hall at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Sara Road. For more information, call Marie at 217-2348.
More halloween thrills
Children of all ages can visit the City of Rio Rancho's Sabana Grande Recreation Center on Saturday, Oct. 22 and enjoy a variety of Halloween-themed events, including:
• Great Goblin Get Together. All little goblins and ghouls are welcome to the biggest and best Halloween carnival around. There will be games, a cake walk, costume contest, a piñata bust and much more. This is a fun and safe alternative to trick-or-treating. Event hours are 5 to 8 p.m., and price of admission is $4 for ages 1 to 9. There is no admission fee for ages one and under, or for parents and guardians. Ages 9 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Fun, Food and Frightening Flick. Preteen and teenagers will be able to enjoy Halloween snacks, games, and take in a frightening movie (rated PG). Wearing a costume or something fun from your closet is encouraged. Event hours are 5 to 9 p.m., and admission price is $4 for ages 10 to 17. How about afternoon trick-or-treating?
Families are invited to trick-or-treating, live entertainment and lunch from noon to 4 p.m., Oct. 29 at Loma Colorado by Pulte Homes. The event is free and open to the public.
